Does anyone have any exciting plans over the festive season , or is Santa bringing you something special you want or need ?

Let me join in the Christmas chorus to everyone. Santa is bringing a cover and more security for the two wheeled wonder. Have a great one - may your roads be smooth, twisty and dry!

rendeer santa drunken Sleep sunny Merry Xmas to all current and former Banditos. sunny Sleep drunken santa rendeer

Pretty low key affair for us as youngest is overseas in Ireland. We'll have Xmas lunch with our daughter and her partner in Canberra, but then they're heading off to Coffs Harbour very early Boxing Day.  I might find the time to pull the carbs off the TRX and install the 6 Sigma kits.

Merry Christmas to all my riding brothers and sisters.
I've just found an excuse to nick off from work and have a nice coffee and muffin with Jim Coleman.

For those of us travelling please take care. For those of us working (me) relax as much as you can and don't stress over things you cant change.

Those east of me I'm happy to go for a squirt to Bobmala/Bemm/Cann one day over the next couple of weeks. I'll have a few weekdays off which are easier than weekends.

Merry Christmas from the Peters clan in the west. Our Christmas will be in Feb for the super bikes. See you lot there, can't wait.

Btw Have a good Chrissy everyone. Keep the shiny side up and leave the keys with someone If you are having a Shandy or two as we'd all like you here next year. Hope you all get that part for your bike you've been wanting for ages. Just have to convince the wife I need that ohlins rear shock worth preload adjustment

Are you on leave already paul?

Other than the mrs going into meltdown mode because my brother has added 1 more (37/38, what does it really matter Rolling Eyes ) to the Xmas tea list now his step daughter is making the trek down from BrisVegas with then it doesn't feel like Xmas at to  me yet

I hope every one has a great time with family and friends, celebrate, relax and stay safe on the roads!!

3 more days work and it'll start to "feel a lot like Xmas"  cheers

Xmas family breakfast / presents / and later cooked dinner at our house affraid Laughing  ( luckily the cool change came just in time for dinner ) , but compared to the poor buggers in the fires on the Great Ocean Road , we got off lightly .

This Christmas was great.

Saw all of the kids and grandkids at THEIR places apart from one lot came to visit us in the week before.  We had some quality time.  Nothing like taking the 7 year old grandson fishing and canoeing and actually catching fish. Every body caught more than one.  Did a spot of babysitting one of the other grandkids while their restauranteur folks provided meals at the shop for functions on the 24th and 25th, had a great light tea on the 25th at the third daughters place where their new reno was having its family function debut. Salad evening meal and home by 8:00 PM.  No turkey no ham, no trifle or elaborate meal preparation, or too much to eat or drink.  In fact I had a kebab for lunch Christmas day.  A very different sort of Christmas, which I enjoyed immensely. It was easy and there wasn't much driving involved - 180 km all up.

I'd do it again.  I think you pay your dues when the kids are growing up. It's very different when they've got kids of their own.  It was a great relaxing break and brief catch up.  The other side of the kids' families is where all the big action was this year.  Boxing Day.

Quiet and small (as one of our two kids is in Ireland for another 6 months, but we got to skype chat to them) but nice. Our poor daughter finished a night shift at the hospital on Xmas morning (she's a nurse) then stayed up all day (ie no sleep in 24 hrs) to eat Xmas lunch, play some cards and then do dinner. Then her and her partner got up at 4.00am Boxing Day and drove to Coffs (well Mick did the driving obviously as our daughter was sound asleep) where his parents and grandma are. So, now I'm back at the farm whilst Bev has stayed on in Canberra to catch up with friends and do some shopping (oh, oh, that's the bad bit!). I'm planning a ride up to Jindabyne to catch up with an old Air Force pal some time.

No grandkids here until late 2017 I suspect. Neutral

Breakfast at my Mum 's Xmas morning with my 2 brothers (1 from Canberra, the other had driven down from BrisVegas with his partner and 2 step kids), the 1st time the 3 of us had been iin the same city for 5 years.

Home  to prepare Roast Beef in the Weber, Roast Pork in a portable fan oven and Roast Chicken and Veggies in the pizza oven for the 29 guests (total of 33) for tea. Had a great night with rellies from both 1/2's of our family + a few close friends.

Boxing day we headed down to Clayton Bay to stay with my sister inlaw and her partner (me on the bike, rest by car), it's been 2 great relaxing days on Lake Alexandrina, heading back home tomorrow, hopefully 21 yo son  has fed the dogs and not burned the house down
