Guess the "Force"  booked him.

He will (should) get off of that, their prosecutions shouldn't even allow it to get to court if he does contest, better still, they should pull the notice regardless.

It is not an offence to ride with only one hand, you must "keep at least one hand on the handlebars"

This is a total waste of tax payers money and another case of a Copper "writing his/her own laws" instead of enforcing those legislated, both coppers should get a kick up the arse for it!!

I guess what they booked him for was stupid , they could have booked him for riding without due care or in a manner dangerous or any number of other offences  . If it was a phone or something more dangerous he was carrying in his hand the perception would have been different , and any object would have hindered an emergency stop.................other cars on the road aren't the only  things to cause an emergency stop & the one hand rule was originally meant to execute hand signals  . Dick head for doing it ...............Dick head cop for not knowing what to book him for .It isn't April 1st already is it  ?
