Looking to install these on my GSX1250FA.Are there any suitable connections on the bike as I would prefer not to wire them direct to the battery? Thanks for any replies!

You could use the Brown (+ve) and Black/white (-ve) wires that goes to the small Position lights in the headlight. This is the same circuit that feeds the tailight bulb that a lot of people use for a 12v ignition source.

The heated grips should not draw too much current so you could get away with wiring them directly, but personally I would wire via a relay that has it's heavy duty line via a fused battery connection.

Stromcat I have oxford heated grips on my FA. Relay behind the left side panel. Supply wire direct from battery with inline fuse, trigger wire from tail light, earth wire to nearby bolt. Power cable to grips then runs under the tank to the head stem....too easy. Smile
