Still here, but been getting dirty

Hello Bandit people. 
Been a while since I've posted here. 
Still got the GSXFA (seem to have a mental block to advertising it...) but been enjoying the new DL1000A  veery much and the Bandit doesn't get much exercise these days.

For those interested, the clips below are why I jumped to the dark side seeking a bit more dirt bias.

Vid below includes magnetic termite mounds, RUTS and crocs. 

2nd vid was my first attempt at a vid using a chest camera mount (a bit of a fail as far as viewpoint).
However FWIW, if interested in some Northern perspective...

I caught up with NTBill on the V-Strom forum.

Someone else beat me to it in suggesting the Bruce Highway might be a bigger challenge for an adventure bike.

That's the sort of stuff I'd definitely want to be doing if I owned an adventure-tourer.  

That's the kind of thing I got the VStrom for but always seem to end up in deeper than I intended ie too steep (and slippery) or a road with 23 creek crossings and it was raining.
