Island Classic and WSBK
Im making the annual trip to the Island Classic and the WSBK in Jan and Feb.
Make it happen people, as all I can say is that the Island Classic over the Australia Day long weekend is a fantastic meet that you wont regret going to.
WSBK starts the fix of world level motorsport off for the year.
Good times ahead in Phillip Island.
Hope to see a few Bandits down there!!!

Hi Truck. Ewok, myself, and we think Gus and his wife Carol will be down for the Supers. We will get in touch and catch up over a cold one.

Re: Island Classic and WSBK
Back from the Island Classic races over the Australia Day weekend and what a fabulous lot of racing, machines and riders.
Great weather and racing from 9am - 5pm each day. Bikes in the pits were magnificent and in the carpark were equally the same.
I met Jerry Burgess who is nice fella and spoke with other riders there who were very friendly.
The ride down and back was great, especially the road from Korumburra - Dalyston through Kongwak (C437 I think). So twisty and picturesque.
If you are on you way to the Supers, just turn off at Leongatha. Its good fun.
Also, had a great meal at the INLINE 4 CAFE in Mirboo Nth. A Veal Sausage and Sauerkraut went down a treat and the muffins were awesome.
The owners (Marcel and Sabine) were so friendly and were interested in the ride I was on. I'll be back there for a coffee and food on my way through in a few weeks.
For the Supers I am staying in Cowes and will have a few frosty ale's down the Isle of Wight and more than a few swims in the bay if it is warm.
I did the road out to Candelo from Bega and onto Bemboka, this was awesome as the cowes were in the fields grazing on a beautiful morning with the sun out, sky blue and green grass - heaven!
Get down there for a goodweekend if you can.

You nearly went past my front door truck - shame not to have caught up (although if that was today I wasn't home).
Looking forward to catching up with you at WSBK - I'll PM you my mobile number.

Yes, a beer and catchup would be great.
Might even see you at the track, I usually park the bike at the start of the weekend, catch the bus out and have a few frosty ale's out there.
I'll probably stop at the Inline 4 Cafe on the way through from Lakes Entrance on Thursday for morning tea / lunch.
Have a good ride down.
