just blew up and im not happy - still under warranty though - will let you know what happens [went phut 30 mins ago] Shocked

same thing happened to my plasma .. just out of warranty. they fixed it but that tv now resides in a bedroom .. have LCD as main tv now

I have a 42" Panasonic plasma (1080p) so I loose this pissing contest Laughing but what happened? Wouldn’t switch on or what?
Touch wood I got a Wednesday build. Wink

it just gave a blank screen. about two months out of warranty. a Sony.
they replaced a circuit board, but obviously had to come and pickup the tv, repair it at their premises, delivered it back.
I didn't like how hot it got anyway, a lot of power to drive it. and it was heavy

I've got a 50'' Panasonic plasma. Its about 3-4years old and had no problems. how old was your plasma's ??? pale

*HealTech Gear Indicator w/tre "Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator is needed".
*Balanced TB's. My TPS was fine, but you should check yours.
*Arrow race headers with Yoshimura TRS.
*PC3 with the supplied map and these mod got 123hp with 115nm of torque.
*Neville Lush Racing custom tune = 130hp with 125nm at the Tyre (Standard 98hp/108nm).

mine made a loud crack and a puff of smoke and acrid smell - have rung panasonic and i am supposed to get called back to make a time to get the guy out within 24-48 hours....which hasnt happened - will ring again tomorrow. it could be anything - all it takes is one component to fail and it wont work. probably a capacitor

repair guy came yesterday [after me chasing them up monday] couldnt fix on site so taken away for 7 days.....we shall see......

7 days are up and no TV. and on monday might im watching a show i recorded on playtv on the PS3 and the picture froze, and i had the Yellow Light of Death [thats ylod - which means its RS] so i had to get another one. if only electronics were as reliable as the bandit..... Rolling Eyes

a 50 incher in a bedroom affraid

I have 50 inch LG in the living room. So far all good. Inbuilt twin HD tuners and a HD recorder
