Looks like a lonely ride on the map.
Just make sure you can make it 280/300km between fuel stops.
You should get further but you'll probably have the wick would up in places and these mills can be made to drink if playing.
And I wouldnt try it at night if you're only relying on the standard candle. Its pathetic.

Yes I know I average 280 to 300 klms per tank.. am going to do a few mods before I leave hoping to get more out of it. Already have an R77 Yoshikawa on it going to take the secondary butterflies out and the air box mod k&n air filter.

Join the Navy.

Seriously.

If you want to start a new life, you can't beat it.

I was in for seven years and had a blast.
You're not always at sea. Plenty of time for riding. Great food, comraderie, Hot chicks.

Max recruitment age is 59.
Six years before compulsory retirement age.
Now, get down and give me twenty!

This week, but if you hold on a wee bit we'll stretch retirement to 67 and higher, unless you're a politician, then you only need to do two terms.

If it helps, I have done the trip in the opposite direction in 2007

The roads are all good but there is not a lot to see.

The longest distance between fuel stops is Camooweal to Barkly Homestead about 260Km. That should be achievable on the Bandit.

I recall at one stop (Larrimah) there was no fuel and I was saved by another rider who had a 5 litre fuel container.

I would definitely carry one if I was doing the trip again.

I wouldn't begin the day before 8.00am as the wildlife (kangaroos, emus, pigs and dingoes) are plentiful and unpredictable

Travelling between 8.00am and 5.00pm is probably the safest, unfortunately this is also the hottest part of the day

I would also carry 2 litres of water

For accommodation I found pubs were cheaper than most other options although there are not a lot around. If you are camping, there are lots of places.

It's a great trip which I recommend
