I'm pissed with myself for not seeing whatever was on the road!
I don't think I'll replace it just yet. My toy funds are being concentrated towards my other toy. I've set a deadline to have it on the road. Maybe Santa might be a little generous and bring me a replacement spoiler?

Ouch, that hurts sb but it could have been a lot worse. A few years back on my first TL I flicked up a bit of steel that pierced the oil filter without me knowing. The filter is basically in the same spot on the TL but with no header pipes covering it. Hence oil was squirting out like a water pistol onto my front tyre. All good until I came to a roundabout 500 metres up the road. You can imagine what happened next. Good part was minimal damage to the bike and myself, all got fixed up pretty quickly. Better part was I slid through the roundabout and didn't keep on riding as the motor would have gone kupput.
As Paul and Ewok said, lucky it wasn't your foot or Shin.
Im sure Santa will bring you another fairing if your good for goodness sake. Take care  Smile .

Bad luck. But lucky.  A bit of tape and some fibreglass. She'll be as good as new.
