Bad luck Madmax. That really sucks working on a public holiday.
Kelpie, let's hope the weather is a bit better than last time we saw you!!!!
I was thinking of having lunch at Marysville? What are your thoughts?

Re: Queens birthday ride?
how did your ride go straff?? Thanks for the invite.
I am sure you had a better time than me
I am finally back from the land of the yellow man .. where white men go to work like convicts 7 days a week (including oz public holidays)
16 days is 17 too many.
Due to all the problems with this 1st machine I am now required to head to Alabama in 3 weeks to commission another 2 lines.
I dont know which place is worse!

Re: Queens birthday ride?
Hi Spanna.
I didn't relise you had to jet set all over the world with your job?
Makes mine seem really boring.
Kelpie and I had a great ride. Weather was awsome and roads were pretty much all dry.
Lots of bikes out at Marysville. And lots of 4WDs taking up more than there share of road on the Reefton.

Re: Queens birthday ride?
I can assure you its not much fun. I don't travel that much anymore, thank God.
Believe me there is no glamour, the inside of a factory is the same all over the world. In fact conditions are better here.
At least this mob had a 'western style toilet bowl' which a cleaner actually cleaned every day. They still don't grasp the concept of soft toilet paper that you can flush!
Sounds like you had some fun on the ride, I just expressed my frustration of missing the ride by belting a couple of the morons across the back of the head. You can get away with that kind of thing as long as you laugh they think its a joke.
Hope to catch up soon for a ride, Cheers

Re: Queens birthday ride?
I was expecting to see them there, but so sign of the boys in blue anywhere which was surprising for a public holiday.
We passed a couple of blokes on the side of the road just out of Gembrook and one had just crashed on a corner. They waved us on saying they were ok.
I think it was a VTR1000 on its side. Looks like he just went in a bit hot!!!

Re: Queens birthday ride?
I think its starting to get a little too cold, the blue boys will be focusing on the snow traffic, it pays better for them during winter.
