Different sized gaps tank/upper fairing

The gaps between the upper front fairing and the tank have always been different on my 2008. When I was at my local Suzuki dealership yesterday took a look at the new Bandit and was surprised to see exactly the same thing.

Asked about it but they had no idea why, and apparently hadn't even noticed it until I pointed it out. We went and looked at two other Bandits and they had the difference in gaps too.

Is it the same on your bike or are the gaps even?

if the tank fits the same as the gen 2, all you have to do is loosen the tank and centralize it to get an even gap
