Hi

Now that I no longer own the bandit, I have a front wheel and a standard exhaust I dont need.

Front wheel has a slight flat spot that can be repaired, colour black, comes with bearings and dust seals, done about 18000kms.

Standard exhaust is in great condition and comes with the gasket seal.

Suit GSF1250s 2009 model.

Pickup only from Wollongong NSW.

Cheers, Badger.

Good luck with the exhaust Badger. I have two of them. Better off at scrap metal I think.

Dunno about that.  Not popular now but when people are restoring them to original in a few years they will be valuable (that or aftermarket exhausts become black listed due to emission or noise regs tightening up).  I always keep the standard exhaust in case.

I'm just putting them out there, you never know. If they go they go.

Hi Badger - I'm in the Gong 24th (overnight). I'll take the wheel if it is still available if you're happy for me to pick it up either late Sunday night (23rd) or sometime Monday (24th). Cheers

Free to good home Empty Original exhaust worth keeping

Post  SolomonKane Sat 22 Feb 2014, 6:20 pm

I think your spot on there mate. Keeping the original exhaust is a good idea. Wish I still had the original for mine, and if I lived down your way I'd have taken your generous offer of a free exhaust in a heartbeat.

If I sold my 2008 I'd want to take the Delkevic off and put an original back on. My thinking is I'd get more for the Del selling it separately while it wouldn't make much difference selling the bike with it on. Of course, if I upgrade to a new Bandit I'll swap the exhausts over and the new Bandit exhaust will carefully wrapped and put away for the future.

I'm fortunate, I've got the space to store it and no wife to complain about it Smile.
