well hello there
Thought I would introduce myself, I'm Matt from the central coast. Own too many bikes but my daily is a gsx650f (2012) with some tasteful mod (yoshi exhaust, custom airbox, PCV, LED flood lights in the faux intakes, Soon to be HID Hi and Low and will change my speedo back lights to blue not orange, 1t down on the front with 1 up on the rear sprocket.

Welcome to the forum Matt.
Can you put up some pictures of the led lights you've installed into the intakes. I've been looking around to do the same but can't find anything small enough to fit

Welcome aboard.
That's a major gearing change. How far out is the speedo now?

Re: well hello there
They would be made by a company called oznium (i cant post links yet so throw that in google and its the first one) they are a Marine Led Spotlight. Its a 40mm cutout which fits in them pretty well, although getting them to aim where you want them to is a little tricky due to the vents being on an angle.madmax wrote:Welcome to the forum Matt.

This one?
You can post pictures you just need to use a photo hosting site such a photobucket.
There's a thread on here somewhere about how to
these are the ones I have been considering, I think they will fit

Yeah those are the ones, I was trying to link you to the website. Those ones you posted will fit although im not sure how bright they will be, if you want them just to light up the space they will be perfect if you want them to be functional I doubt they would do much.

Re: well hello there
I did it without taking any of the fairings off, i just took off the 3 screws that hold the intake on, and then squished and maneuvered the grill out, took about 10 minutes it would have been easier with the side fairings off and once the grill is out drill your hole and feed the cables/the led into it. I hooked mine upto the hi beam as they are bright as.
