Introduce Yourself.
Hi all.
Sorry for not introducing myself earlier but I'm new to using forums.
My name is Phil (Kelpie) and my bike is a 2011 GSX1250FA with heated grips, Staintune muffler, Hepco & Becker hard panniers, R & G crash protectors and front Fender Extender. This is my first Suzuki after only having had Hondas before and it would have to be the best all round bike I've owned, although it took me a while to get used to after my CBR1000F.
I live in West Gippsland about 100km. from Melbourne with some great roads straight out my drive. It's no wonder tyres wear out so fast on this bike!
I've also been watching this forum since I got the FA and have picked up some great tips & ideas for my bike so keep up the good work everyone!
Oh, and the nick name Kelpie, comes from the fact we have 5 working kelpies on the place for sheep dog trialling. My other hobby.

Re: Introduce Yourself.
Welcome Kelpie. I'm just a bit further down the line.
I hope your bike never runs like a dog
Don't worry about being new to forums you'll pick it up quick enough.

Welcome to the forum Phil.
You might want to also consider a radiator guard. Even with the fender extender there is still a chance of stone damage.

Welcome to Bandit Central Kelpie. You've got access to some great roads thereabouts (I was born and raised in Gippy).

Re: Introduce Yourself.
G'day Kelpie, Jindivick hey? The home of the Chilli festival ( at least until they moved it to Calder park ). Yes Im a big fan of hot sauce. I was talking to the fella that makes " Bloody Hot Mate " sauces at Mt Eliza markets last Christmas, he's from Jindivick also. I'll be buying more off him this year, good stuff.
As for the sheepdog trials, every year at Henty Field Days I can sit there and watch them for ages, they're unbelievable. I often want to take my Boxer there and show him the finer points of behavioural science.
Anyway, welcome to the forum mate, Jimmy.

Re: Introduce Yourself.
Thanks guys for warm welcome.
Hey Jimmy the Boy, I haven't been to the Henty trials, but I don't think your Boxer could quite cut it without a bit of bloodshed. The dogs that is. Sheep can be pretty tough.
And 2wheelsagain, I hope my dogs can run like my bike. Smooth, steady & strong!
