Looks like a good way to rip a hole in your frame in a low speed slide. They tend to dig in and cause all sorts of havoc. Only useful if you happen to drop it in the driveway.

That'll depend on what the knob is made of. If its aluminum they'll dig in.
Anyway I'm only concerned if it falls over stationary. If it goes for a slide down the road it'll probably be written off, hopefully.
