Re: Another Newbie
G'day Al, welcome along. Plenty of forumites up your way.
Nice spot Ormeau! & you're not too far from some nice riding spots north & south. I didn't mind Mt Tamborine. My favourite ride up that way would have to be the Numinbah valley down into NSW
Cheers, Steve

Thanks
Thanks Steve I see that your from Coffs I have only just moved up this way from Kungala my self . I have been out to Tamborine and the Cedar creek falls its a good scratch from where I live and the roads are heaps better up here , so far !! . Your bandit is the same colour as mine it's an 07 S and I love it , plenty of torque which is ideal for the type of riding I plan to do up this way .
I have been told about a well used route that goes up to MT Mee , north west of Brissy it sounds like a great day trip and I want to squeeze it in before Chrissy so il post up a ride report when I do .
The whole Cop thing has got me a bit worried up here but I reckon if ya can control your right hand and you've got nothing to hide it should be all good , don't let it put you of a run North of the boarder I think they've got a specific target in mind and it ain't the category that were in .
When I figure how il put up some piccies of my bike Bandits Rule lol .

Thanks for the welcome I have only been in Ormeau for a 1 week now and I am starting off a new business so heaps of walking , dropping flyers and handing out cards . It's pretty cool up here you've got the benefit of the city and all that comes with it and when you want ya just take a short trip over the hills and its as if your in a completely different place altogether ! .
How do you load the avatar piccie , I am having problems but I am sure it's just me lol !!!!
Cheers

Welcome to the forum Al.
The easiest way to put up photos is to use a photo hosting site like photobucket once you've add your photos to it each photo will have a link attached to it. Use that link with the insert image button on the tool bar on the post a reply page.

Re: Another Newbie
Al, ask the Qld blokes a couple of days in advance if they want to do the likes of the Mt Mee run. I'm sure you would have someone like to show you the way.
We used to live in Helensvale at the northern end of the Gold Coast. Got too busy, so we moved down here. My "fastest coloured" RED bandit is an 06 air cooled beast.
Check out the rides page, Hammy is organising a ride to Drake
