Hello there Barry, Just setting up an entire page to tell you that the Busa I saw in Bathurst was a silver one. I'll try and get a photo of it this week. Im also pretty sure he had removed the sidestand by undoing the bolt.Smile

Sean's done quiet a few conversions of all sorts of bikes, these sometimes include changing the front end to his own Leading Link design (as on mine).  He completely disgards the old struts, dampers etc., basically he only keeps the tripple tree and brakes.  This means he might have in his box of old parts, front assemblies that could be used to replaced worn, broken, bent units, or to have a set made up whilst still keeping the bike on the road.

I haven't asked him about it, but I'm sure if he has the parts people could get them from him a lot cheaper than wreckers etc, and in some cases they could be almost new.  He's suppose to be moving to a new shed (well that's what he told me over 12 months ago) but I think he's still at the same address in Bathurst, however if he is moving there might be the garage sale of the century coming up.

Not much left of the original front end when you change over to a Leading Link:

As for the Busa being Silver, Sean has his own paint shop, wouldn't be surprised if he got bored of the old colour and repainted it.
