That's the way I read it too, bit like if you only catch a train one day a week , you are 7 times less likely to be involved in a train accident than someone who catches one every daymadmax wrote:23% less likely to claim on their car policy, because they spend more time on their bike
( although I do think in general we are more aware of what's going on around us than non riders )

I dont think there can be any argument that as riders we're more alert and conscious of our surroundings behind the wheel.
