Just when.........

You thought some people could not get MORE stupid ,well, they can .
We got called to a road site the other early morning (dark) to clean up a speed bump someone had made .
The width of a curbed 2 way street ,on a corner ,unlit . It consisted of 2 layers of hard rubber matting. Each matt was 30x 600x600mm (a very dark green )
That's a straight edge of 60mm .
A workmate hit it on his Motor-bike and nearly crashed (not surprising, Its dark remember )
Construction time must have been an hour (it was neat) unless there was more than one person building it .
Oh shit ,there is more than one mindless non thinking IDIOT out there .
No wonder you guys like those headlight threads

I doubt they were thinking its funny. More like a local resident sick of speeding vehicles taking the law into their own hands without putting to much thought into it.

There is a right way to go about achieving these things and then there is this way....

My neighbour accross the road got sick of speeding cars down our little rural road and was worried about the welfare of her kids coming home from school. She works for Customs (and is a great sort) and spent a few moments over a few arvos standing out on the road in her uniform pointing a hair dryer at oncoming speeders. Slowed em down!
