New Lease of Life. Empty New Lease of Life.

Post  Hammy Sat 21 Sep 2013, 8:15 am

Well guys n Gals.  I had my R/H eye caterac surgery on Thursday. Patch came off on Friday morning. All I can say is WOW !  I was really blind. It's like looking at a whole new world.  Surgery was absolutely painless and very quick. Not even an ounce of pain that night. Amazing. Just over 2 weeks till I have the left one done. Can't wait. Look out Bandit. You and I are goin' to be doing a lot of catching up together.  Only downside was.
I look a hell of a lot older in the mirror from what I can remember. Laughing   Now Jan has a long list of things that I need to do around the place because I have no excuse about not being able to see it.

I know how you feel mate. Not from having surgery, just glasses for distance. I got them a few years ago and the first time I wore them on the ride home I was blown away with what I could see. I could see blades of grass, not just a green blur!
Congrats Hammy. Enjoy:D

Awesome, it's amazing how much faster you can go when you can see where you are going.

Not to mention who might be lurking up the road. Smile

All the best Hammy.

Good on ya Hammy. A mate of mine had both eyes done 3 yrs ago and said the same thing, best thing he'd ever done, should have done it earlier. Completely painless and only the 2 half days off work for each eye. Amazing what they can do nowadays isn't it. Enjoy your new outlook mate.Smile

Yes, I couldn't believe how pain free and easy it was.  The only discomfort was to the hip pocket. $$$   Smile
