Thanks Gus, you've really got it looking good. Great job, I'm very envious. I miss my old TL, but it was either sell the bike or lose the house at that time in my life, so it was a no brainer.

Re: Cans..............
i like the look and sound of those bikes but i do find the way you can see the front bottom exhaust pipe spoils the look of it,i nearly bought one with the full fairing on it but after sitting on it for a while i just couldnt do it because of my back injury, wished that i could but that didn't work..each to their own i guess and beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, the one i looked at was a yellow tl1000r,had 50k on it looked in ok cond for 5k,it looked quick just sitting there..nice

Re: Cans..............
Gus, a good job to do before worrying about the pipe is to somehow guard the oil filter. I think you may be able to by a sleeve to put over it but Im not sure. I flicked up a piece of steel off the road that hit the filter and put a small nick in it. I rode along unknowingly whilst it was squirting oil on my front tyre like a water pistol. As soon as I came to a roundabout, down I went. Only cosmetic damage but expensive none the less. The bike was a bit damaged aswell.
