Zero More Sleeps
Well the Biggest Loser Final is on tonight (ch10 @7:30)
I'm not sure how I'll feel about it when its finished.
I know some of you will be parked in front of the telly having a giggle (or gag) at us ex fatties.
That’s fine by me As of this morning I’ve lost 51kg and my body has just about had enough so I’ll maintain that until the other side of winter then have another crack at 5 or 6kg. I’m a couple of kg off my personal goal but I’m knackered after 6 months of this.
My family say enough is enough and I’m inclined to agree with them now.
For those of you on my Facebook list you can expect a status update about 9:30 tonight when we’re all allowed back on.
It’s been an awesome experience with results you can’t buy and more valuable than any prize money on offer.
Thanks again for all your support. I’m impressed how this site has matured and us members have a broad range of interests and a high level compassion for our mates. Just look at the range of subjects we discuss. Its brilliant and mateship at its finest.
Thank you brothers and sisters. Keep it up.

I`m not into the reality tv thing, so no offence intended, and won`t be watching for the same purpose...BUT, full respect to you for what you`ve achieved.
51kg is a massive lose, and stands to reason, it must have changed your life in many ways, just hope no injuries!! as they can haunt you through life.
best of luck with your goals.

Re: Zero More Sleeps
Hi Chris
I cannot believe this I was actually there. It was the episode where you came back to the house to find the back garden full of school kids and fitness first people. You so smashed us with your exercise routines, I was totally stuffed and we only did 40 minutes with you guys.
Well done. Having been there and had a small sample of what you have all been through your achievements are amazing. If you look back at the episode you will catch a very brief glimpse of me hahaha. I was the tall bloke in the middle circle area towards the back all in black gym gear.

Well my wife was happy that out of the final 3, the orange team won (given Chris and Mark weren't in the final).

Onya Mate. That effort must rate way up there in your personal life. You look great and so does Mark. If you had shaved down you might have picked off those extra kgs. Sensational !

Re: Zero More Sleeps
Well done guys. Now the real journey begins. - Keeping it off in the real world.
You need to make it a lifestyle change. 4 years ago I was 120kgs and couldnt walk up a flight of stairs without being out of breath. After just starting out walking and becoming every increasingly interested in knowledge about healthy food choices, I now anm 74kgs and 2 weeks ago completed my 4th Half marathon around Sydney. One of the biggest rewards I gave myself was a new set of leathers.
I know you'll enjoy that extra few horsepower you'll get from the Bandit now.
We'll done once again.

Re: Zero More Sleeps
For those interested or who care I thought I'd update you on where I'm at on this journey.
On Sat I jumped on the scales and I had cracked 100kg. Well 99.9kg to be exact. They're showing 99.5 today so I'm still going
Feel free to pm or message through Facebook if you want some "been there done that" advice.
I have chucked a heap of photos up on Pintrest if you want to see my transformation in all its glory

That's a total loss of almost 53kg so if anyone is considering a big diet and lifestyle change there's the proof that it can be done. I know its not easy and I wouldn't have believed it myself 12 months ago

When you say "in all its glory", please dont tell me you have naked photos there lol
Keep up the hard work, you're doing much better than me at the moment, even with an injury.
(I'd love to get back to the gym, but my back is rooted, since March, and even getting into the car hurts.)

That sucks mate.
They say weight loss is 80% diet though. Have you got that organised?
A trainer at your local gym could probably still work out a plan for you.
Sorry. That probably sounds a bit "preachy". Its not meant to be

Thats ok. I think i said that lots of times too, when i was at my peak performance. Im a sweettooth which makes it all that harder, so trying to limit that. I hate winter though, cause thats when i indulge in the comfort foods the most. Ill get there, just not in the right headspace at the moment.
