She Lives (ha ha)
Finally got round to doing Gus’s fuel pump fix. Got to say I was skeptical at first that it would work, but its sorted the bike out so cheers Gus.
So I can now safely say that the Delkevic headers work well with the Healtech FI Tuner Pro. I’m using the map that Barry posted in this thread,
https://nswbandits.forumotion.net/t3516p30-delkevic-headers-installed
Thanks Barry, it seems to be working well.
Here’s my setup so far, which I think I will leave alone now all is working correctly.
08 GSF 1250
Delkevic headers and Delkevic 450mm CF silencer (no CAT, no O2 sensor)
Healtech FI Tuner Pro (Barrys trim Map)
K&N air filter with airbox lid completely cut off
Wire 23 cut to disable O2 senor
PAIRS left in place
Secondary butterflies left in place
I left the PAIRS in place as I quite like the small amount of popping I get. Next would be to remove the secondary butterflies, but I’m not really feeling the need to do this yet if ever. I can feel a small flat spot around 8000 rpm, which I think are the secondary’s kicking in, but it doesn’t bother me and will probably be the thing that keeps me alive anyway.
So thanks to Gus for the pump fix, Barry for the map and all the others that recommended I do the pump fix to get some power above 5000 rpm.
Cheers guys, could not have done it without this forum. The pints are on me next time I’m in town.
