Saw 2 - when one stuck isn't enough
Lucky I had a 3rd saw and a couple of axes
I picked the largest tree to pick on, an hour later I gave up and went and got a load of wood haha
BTW got both saws out. West Australian Jarrah is damn heavy

I can relate to that reddog - I did the same last year on a large stringybark that was a couple of metres off the ground. I fell off it trying to crowbar the saw out of the gap - damn nearly got crowed by my own bar! Wife was about to call the ambulance when I sat up!

They look like they're Stihl stuck

Strewth Reddog, I'm impressed, must be why with only the one Sthil, I carry the axe and crowbar, mind you, mines smaller than yours....

That an 038 magnum II and an ms390 I managed to get it out with my two axes and heaps of swearing haha. Stil had another smaller Stihl in the ute if the going got tough. My world class woodsman grandfather was up there laughing at me I reckon.

I was hoping 4 rings of that tree would fill my ute. I ended up with a ute full just not from that tree.

Once had a bloke laugh at the antique McCulloch I was using to cut through a 6 foot Diameter river red gum. The thing was so heavy, all I had to do was sit it on the log, hold the throttle on and let the weight do the rest. Half an hour later the guy came up to me and asked if I could cut his saw out because it was jammed.

Don't remind me that winter is coming. I cut a big old blood wood gum down on our block a couple of seasons back. Sliced, stacked. chopped. Most of it is gone now. Will have to find some more dry wood for this year. I have a chiness sthyl ripp off 20"er that goes really well. As well as a 12"er. Gotta love a chain saw.

Haha. Gus go and buy a secondhand Stihl 038. Beautiful saws. My dads must be 25 odd years old and still cuts like a dream.
