1980 GS1000S FORASALE
Bumped into this on Bikepoint and though it might suit anyone looking to do a restoration on a 1980's superbike. I don't know what might be wrong with it but a project anyone? The condition and price seems right (especially if he is willing to drop it a few $100) and a restored one should sell well enough. PS: It's only just north of Canberra so if anyone was really serious I could look it up.

That's what I thought Gus. The drilled discs are probably not originals I'm suspecting - I seem to remember Japanese bikes from the late 70s and early 80s all had solid discs.

Wish I still had mine, and all my hair, and that slimmer physique.....
Warnertown, near Port Pirie, South Australia. Out of shot was my brother's Laverda Jota - flog him in 80kmh top gear roll-ons until about 170, and then the Jota would come sailing past wailing like a banshee

Nice - you look like a model posing for Suzuki! The one north of Canberra sold before I got around to thinking I should own it. You do wonder what ever happened to your old bikes.
