Does any one out there know who in Brisbane does polished rims? The prep on my wheels can't have been too good, as the paint is starting to bubble in the odd place and thought polished rims might be the go. Also for those of you who have had it done, what is approximate pricing?

Agreed with what Cameron said. Gus knows how to make stuff shiny or coat it in carbon fibre.

Thanks to some direction and assistance from Gus, the rims are now polished. I now have a couple of photos of the newley polished rims. It makes such a difference to the dull black previously on the rims. As Gus indicated, the Suzuki paint is soooo thin, removing it is not a problem. For the sake of wearing out a few fingers from sanding, the result is worth the effort.

I have now also added crash bars and Wunderlich air deflector. The range of settings on the deflector is great, Just keep changing position until you get the one that suits.

I can also vouch for the Wunderlich air deflector, Dingo bought a couple so I could back onto the order. Mounted on the MRA shield it allows me to ride open face helmet without feeling like I am being blasted. Also stops the buffeting with or without a pillion.

Well Dingo took me through the polishing process last night for my back wheel. WOW, how good do they look. Hopefully will get time over the weekend to do the front wheel.
