Just watched the news & was told our $1.8 billion desal plant we have been paying for with extra taxes / costs will be mothballed WTF 
.......................the next article announced as of January the southern train line will be shut for 9 months & the others for shorter periods 
More bloody traffic on the roads ...................which are also restricted down south to make our southern expressway run both ways at the same time any time of the day ..........now there's a novel idea ( they built it to only run one way in the morning & the other way in the afternoon now they have to duplicate it next to the existing one 
)

They do the same up here in Canberra all the time with the roads, disrupt the traffic and only build half the lanes, let the traffic choke itself, then spend double the amount again duplicating what they should have done in the first place, plus disrupting the traffic for twice as long once more.
The best one is where they built a bridge over one of our mosquito ponds, they thought they would be smart and construct the piers for the other lanes that were planned for a couple years in the future - roll on those years, out come the surveyors and they find because the piers didn't have the weight of the bridge on it over that time they have risen out of the ground and had to be demolished - at extra cost, and rebuilt all over again.
