Hello everyone, my name is Steve.

A few months ago I decided to start looking for a new bike and in the process of looking at different bikes, especially the Bandit, I came across this site. For many years I'd liked the look of the Bandit and had read many favourable reports and after a lot of investigation and a fair bit of sweet talking to the Wife, 2 weeks ago I bought a new GSF1250S. I must say, it is 1 of the best bikes I've ever ridden. It is so nice to ride, even in traffic.

My last bike was a 2008 Bonnie T100 and although I loved riding that bike, riding the bandit made me realize what I was missing. I use my bike for commuting during the week and going for rides on the weekend and the difference between the 2 is incredible. The instant response, the stability and handling, everything about this bike is great.

Anyway, thanks for listening...

Cheers

To be honest, I didn't look at a lot of other bikes. The larger bikes of most models weren't great because of the seat height, the Bandit fit really good.

I've ridden in the dark quite a few times over the last 2 weeks and it's not so bad compared the Bonnie. That was like riding and holding a candle in front of me. lol!
