Who doesn't like their stock seat on their 2010 Bandit?

In my opinion the seat slopes forward a little with the result you're always inching towards the tank. My Corbin seat was dead flat and sensational.

However, the 2010 Bandit also has a height adjustable seat so I raised the front and left the rear in the lower position and it's pretty good.

I think I'm happy Smile

+1... Did that last week and it has made a huge difference, especially when riding 2 up

I had a bit of a look at seat adjustment and can see a couple of holes at the front of the seat. Is it simply a case of moving these? How does the back of the seat adjust? I couldn't see that??

Thanks
Steve

On the '12 model and I assume all from '07 and up are the same.

To adjust the front only, you re-position the two front bolts to the next set of bolt holes. That's it Dont do the rubbers because you wont get the seat bock on the frame of the bike (I tried)

To adjust the whole seat up (or down) You have do like for the front of the seat and spin all 4 rubber stoppers 90 degrees, remove the nuts on the metal bracket at about the centre of the seat and slide the two seat sections apart. Under there you will see another two bolts which need to be re-positioned.

Easy... when you know how :-)

I think that's right... working form memory

I thought you were supposed to sit against the tank. Its always been my position on all the bikes i've owned. Maybe thats why I dont complain about the Bandit seat Laughing
