I quite like it , but it,s a demo & personally I've always been a little skeptical about buying a demo.

Me too. But as a bike goes ? I would one day like to have a nice Euro bike for cruising.

What's the issue with a demo bike? Surely it can't be that its been run up the teach a couple of times?
That's worth the 2 to 5 k discount demo bikes offer isn't it?
I've never known a demo bike that's been truly flogged.

I have ( all be it a sports bike ) & I would rather have a new one & run it in properly myself.
But each to their own.

Re: I Would Own This .
the aprilia i test rode recently, the sales bloke told me to cane it,and said don`t come back before half an hour..and i did,and don`t feel bad about it.
I respected it by warming it up first, but that was it.
I would never treat a mates bike,or for that matter, a second hand private sale like I did with this particular bike, sales bloke said go,so I did

I have a mate who used to work in a Suzuki dealership. He told me that they used to love flogging the demo Bandits. Wheelies and so on. Then he laughed when he said that then some poor mug would come along and buy it. They would just put another on demo and do the same.

^^ That’s no different to what a lot of us do to our bikes for many many years.
A couple of hundred km on the clock with the occasional wind up or wheelie is hardly going to wear them out (Chinese bikes excepted )

i`d like to know that the bearings have been run in properly, and not over stressed by over reving or by being over loaded ,which is alot worse.

Re: I Would Own This .
I just got rid of my 96 Bandit with 120,000 on it.
It was an ex demo with about 800km on it when I bought it (if I remember correctly). Ran like a Swiss watch to the day I traded it. They even commented how quiet it was. Mind you, I may have just been lucky.
