Inaugural BMW R1200RT meet :) Wiesmans Ferry 24/6/2012

We had a good ride today, a friend Karen (GSXF750), my brother and sister-in-law Warren and Karen (R1200RT), my wife Narelle and myself on the mighty 1200 Bandit. http://goo.gl/maps/4vvV



We met up with Baz (former banditeer) and his *new* R1200RT



and a friend Mike(Speed triple) also from Sydney.


not bad for an over-the-shoulder shot using the flip-out display.

We had to cross the Ferry twice, it would be an excellent ride if the surface of the of the so-called roads were improved a bit.


We took a slightly shorter, faster route home to beat nightfall.

No Jim, they don't, I've had that jacket for a while now, can't you see the road grime all over it. I do need new pants though but I'm not going down the bmw path in clothing

It's easy to be envious (about the ride I mean). I hope Baz is going to post up a report on the new steed. That certainly is a lot of front fairing - Baz must think he's in the car!

My mate terry's got some bmw pants they look very comfy, dont buy dririder very disappointed with my vortex pants and jacket had mine back a few times getting zips fixed

New Boots now Baz or have you used black 'gaffer' tape in this shot instead of the Silver?? (Although the silver would go nicely with the Kraut machines colour!)
