New front tyre slashed .. and I'm happy!

Just got my new tyres fitted last thing yesterday, and didn't get a good look at them until today.

So far I have done nearly 4 kms 'across a variety of road surfaces' and these are the best replacement tyres I have ever experienced - WOW! And looking at them I estimate I will get another 13,113 kms. before they will need replacing!

Seriously, I was really glad with the prompt service, and the guy who actually did the install said: "Nice bike! Real clean. When I get a bike like this I take special care because I know the owner will be really fussy!" So true!!

That is exactly the way that I think about Bikes and cars. If you take your bike in clean then they will be more careful with it. Nice to hear that from someone in the trade.

I just fitted the Pilot Road 3s to my VStrom, and they are FANTASTIC, cannot wait for the BT's to wear out, although they are not bad, had them on the Vstrom before.

i have done about 10k on mine getting ready to replace it, been very happy with it. going to replace it with a continental road attack 2 suppose to get the same milage as the PR3 but a bit cheaper

I am very happy with my PR3s. I looked at front tyre also and thought WTF is that 1952 but they really hang on in the wet. Very impressed so far.

In the little bit of sunshine today I took the Bandit out for a run to bed in the PR3's, but after 100 Kim's. the little moulding spikes don't look any different!

It's supprising how long it takes to wear the little "tits" off the tyres!
