I Have It.......

It recently ocurred to me that all you blokes (and girls) modifying your 1250 Bandits makes mine pretty special
You see that makes mine unique I reckon.
Stock except for a can and thats not even a Yoshi because they're like arseholes. Oh and a radiator guard.
This uniqueness has its advantages
Mine is "unmodded" to be different.

Reminded me of a joke chris. How do you catch a unique bird? U nique up on it

I wanted to be extra special 2W so have ordered;

a set of double overhead brass plated chrome nipple covers. Just need some where to place them on the bike now

You have a can ,therefore its modified .Highly if you add the carbon bits .

I was sitting in a dental surgeons waiting room in Collins St yesterday. I had to think of something to take my mind off the expected bill I forgot about my CF bits too so you win

I just got 330k's out of a tank of fuel on a trip last weekend. about the same as it did when it was standard

Standard Vs 130rwhp. I'll take modded bike all day long

It's OK 2w. Your Bandit is standard. Even with an aftermarket can on.

I was just sitting there and thinking if someone really wanted a different Bandit they'd leave it alone

I'm sure they are out there. When I stumbled upon mine , if I had refitted the original can, which I still have, it would have been fully original to look at. Even down to all the stickers everywhere.

Same with mine, I still have the original exhaust and screen and would have been easy to put it back to showroom look.

Since the indicator, clutch handle and a few other things were broken, it was easier to go after market bits. I do think the led indicators are nice and bright anyway, so am glad I did them. Indicators are about the only thing I can't have oem as one of the mounting point has snapped off. But if I wanted to, I could change everything else back.

I think it is great that it is easy to customize little bits of a bike for such a reasonable price.

Ah bugger, that means mine isn't standard after all, the unleaded fuel sticker isn't on the tank!

I still have all my standard gear too it's easy to return back to standard, But only if I sell it to some one weird like 2wa.
