Tamborine Mountain area.

In case you missed my other post, a few of us from here on the Island will be coming over on the sunday 20th of May for a ride with QuizGuy. Anyone is welcome to join us. Will have more details as time gets nearer.

QuizGuy has generously offered to be the guide for us. So in due course he will decide on a suitable time span and route. We will probably just all meet him at a suitable place, ie, servo. On a sunday the first barge arrives over at Redland bay at 9:20am. I think that is early enough for this time of year. Time to warm up a bit. If anyone wants to, they can even ride over to Redland bay Marina and meet the "Island" riders there. Then we can all go off together to find QG. Just a thought. Fingers crossed for a fine day.

A tentative yes from myself & my wife Marissa on 2 Bikes. I am having a big day of Birthday Celebrations on Saturday 19th so it will depend on if I feel up to it on the Sunday!!

That would be great DMoney. I'm sure Jan would love to see another female rider come along. Will be in touch soon.

Thanks Paul. Take this morning for instance. Beautiful clear blue sky. No wind. Perfect day for a ride. Now. Cool breeze, cloudy and showers. Fingers crossed.

Hey guys, getting closer, have spoken to hammy and this is the plan so far , i live just off the highway, here http://maps.google.com.au/maps?hl=en&tab=wl so I would offer to meet at my place about 10 - 10.30 then people can have a wee, drop stuff off if they want etc.. easy ride up the mountain, a few photo ops , Lunch in the clouds, I know a place with the best gourmet pies( bloody dear tho) , then different way back down then after the ride if people dont have to rush off, have an early dinner sausage sizzle/bbq.. but that is up to them, the offer is there. see if this works, this is a rough plan

yep thats a great spot.. have some history there too.. its where I had one of my first dates with my wife to be... its our 10 yr anniversary next week..

Did you know John Swan plays there on a semi regular basis? Or he used to anyway.
