Hi All

Why can't I find a grab rail that would attach to the same mounting point as the luggage rack on my bandit 1200s....

I would love some grab rails similar to what is on the spyder - see photos attached :-S My wife would like something more solid to hold onto....

grab rails Pauls_10

I made my own for the last bandit from a piece of 3/8 '' bright rod bent to shape with a couple of tags welded to it & then bought some round tube rubber ( Clark rubber ) to fit over it & covered it with vinyl . It fitted from the front occy strap screw to the rack mounting screw of the grab rail . ( photo taken when I first got the bike & removed the stickers etc )

Here's a slightly different solution, have you seen these, about US$30 (plus postage) from Twisted Throttle:

grab rails Empty Velcro

Maybe a velcro pad on the seat and also on the butt of her jeans - certainly wouldn't slide around
Could finish up a permanent fixture Laughing

lol, she won't ride unless she can have an auto Rolling Eyes

That could work. I would have to pain them black but it would be within my handyman skill level.....
