The best and the worst

If you could pick only one thing in each category , what would be the one thing you love most about motorcycling , and the one thing you would change.

I love the feeling of being at one with the bike on a ride & the that your other problems become secondary even if its only because your mind is occupied by the ride .

My gripe is with nature I guess and if I could stop really strong side winds especially on a trip that would be great . ( ridden in up to 100 kph winds over my time riding & not much fun & tiring as well . )

OK. Real Freedom. Hard to discribe, but if you ride then you know what I mean. Road surface conditions. Some are bad enough for cars without any thought to us poor bikers with only a couple of square centimeters of rubber on the road.

Next.

Good. Real freedom.
Bad. Road design with no thought for bikes. Or worse no regard for bikes.

if i could change-legalize slicks in the dry

likes = riding, no matter the conditions. If I'm riding, I'm smiling
not so likes = the retards that try to talk me out of riding cause it's "dangerous and I might die in a crash with a car" <-- Yes I have been told that one by someone.

Likes: A good ride with good mates, preferably an overnighter

Dislikes: My own riding limitations

Like = Bikes, any bike, i don't think I could be unhappy on a bike no matter what it was

Dislike = wildlife.... I can allow for cars, trucks, etc, but possums, kangaroos, dogs cats, fucking impossible to read their minds....

Like - I like the feeling of being (relatively) in control of my own destiny.

What would I change - I'd change the government/police obsession with 'speed kills'.

Like: Adelaide's Hill's roads.

Dislikes: Broken Hill's shit roads.

Like : Being unsurrounded by metal, out here totally free.

Dislike: The friggin morons in 4WDs that take the whole bloody road on corners. And truckies that toss lit smoke butts out the window. And the a'holes that like to play swapsies on the freeway, Bust there nuts too get in front of you and then slow down to 100k, just so you can overtake them again.

Likes:freedom.acceleration by far,fresh air,ease of getting around tin lids whilst shaking my head (dickhead)
corners,bring them on.getting the nagging out of my head,boss/missus
Dislike:bitches in awd`s/4wd`s on the bloody phone not giving a f@#k,cops(oops)
bloody tourists not knowing (where the f@#k are we?)sitting in the right lane looking for friggin` something to look at.

Likes - the feeling that i am connected to my surroundings, heightened awareness, more than I ever am in a car.

Dislikes - being treated like a fourth rate citizen by a...holes who think that because they have 4 wheels they have more right to the road use than I do, and they are allowed to try and force me off the road.

It makes me feel like i can fly .

The bad -Being told 110 is as fast as i can legally fly ..The Snowy Mountains would be nice at 160 +
