What would you do
Well I know what I did, but here is the story
Here I am taking my evening walk.
Walking down the street when old matey #1 points out that there is a snake on the ground and I should be careful. Now to put this into context, it's about 8pm (so a bit on the dark side) and I haven't got my glasses on so everything is a bit on the blurred side.
Anyways, I reply "cheers mate" and then I spy old matey #2 with a broom trying to beet the living shit outa our slithery friend, and by christ, he was getting ken angry (the snake, not the old dude) but was trying it's best to get the fuck outa dodge and wasn't even trying to fight back.
I commented that he should leave the snake alone as it'd probably curl up somewhere and go to sleep at which time our hero with the broom gave the snake a bit of a flick in my direction (I don't think it was deliberate but......) which ended up with a aprox 2 meter brown snake wrapped around my ankle.
What would you do?

No shit. What dick head(The Hero). Just stand still and if it looked like he was going to bit, kick it at the Hero.
This is me being a Hero on the 7/10/11.

Re: What would you do
I calmly released the snake from my ankle and allowed it to slither away into the undergrowth, giveing it a little wave as it disappeared quietly.
I then strolled over to old matey #2 and explained to him in a nice controlled manner that using a broom to defend yourself from a scared snake is not appropriate considering the size difference between the 2 opponents and that my need for a snake skinned ankle brace is far less than my need to not be bitten by a scared and furious animal that has no idea who or what it is biting into.
Pretty sure you can translate that for yourselves

I assume he is having the broom surgically removed from his rectum.

With more good luck than good management and a huge "thanks fruitbats" once done.
On another note, saw broom wielding tool tending to his garden yesterday when I was out for a walk and for someone I don't know apart from this, he was rather nice to me as I walked past.
Had a funny limp tho
