g'day from WA
G'day everyone,
I came across your forum and thought I'd be polite and say hi, instead of just lurk.
I'm Ray and I'm waiting on my maroon 09 1250A to be delivered from Pro Yamaha, Qld.
I'm in Perth. There were a couple similar here to choose from that I took for a test ride but the salesman
didn't follow up with me and after riding them I wanted one.
I also tested a Versys, f800s, and gsx650F, but the Bandit just felt right. Solid, stable power delivery, comfortable sitting position and I came away with a big smile.
The Mrs said I'd better get it right because I'm not getting another go, but I think I'll be happy with the Bandit.

Welcome Ray.
The Bandit does put a smile on your face.
Did you trade or are you coming back to bikes?

Hi Thommo,
To commute but I chose it because I wanted a "bike for all occasions".
Is yours one of those that were at either the Honda Shop or Savage Suzuki?

Re: g'day from WA
no mate neither of those two..although Ive seen both..and my pick would be the one at savages..even though its got none of the groovy parts ..it looks more genuine to me ..both are near the $9000 mark I believe.
I scored mine privately from a bloke that wanted my cruiser..so we did a part exchange type deal...trouble is the starter is now not working...good news though , it still has 3 months of new bike warranty left on it
what the shipping set you back from Qld...Im looking at the the 250's over east at the mo { for the missus}...cause they are quite a bit cheaper than the 250s here..

I'm not sure how they jiggled it, the bike was 8 and after to & fro the best they said they could do for freight was 1200 but I got it over here for 8.8 total, that was all I cared about.
