Bikeshow Bandits
For those who go to bike shows and stuff - if you saw a Bandit in a show that's say 10 years old or so, and is in as-close-as-you-like showroom condition and absolutely stock standard - do you like seeing those sorts of bikes?

yep / sometimes more than non original . Pretty hard to keep one perfect as opposed to rebuilding ; modifying or customizing one (all of them have their place though )

Yep but I dont think 10yrs qualifies as concourse material.
Its not hard to keep a modern bike looking new. 20yrs old and they start requiring work and I would appreciate the owners effort as much as the same bike that was blinged to the max.
Thats just me.

Only if it got miles on it . Anyone can keep one in the house and trailer it to the show ,but putting decent miles on it AND having it looking good ,
thats the hard bit .

I reckon if I saw this at a show with 1500km on the clock, I'd still stop and have a real good perve / ogle.
