i fell off!!!!
in the garage - the side stand wasnt down properly, and as far as i can see the only damage is a scrape on the bottom of the casing on the left. i had to hold it up which took some doing and phone someone to come and help me lift it

Re: i fell off!!!!
I did it a couple of weeks ago in the work carpark.
Thank god I could lift the beast up myself without help.....
Cost me a new left front indicator and a couple of scratches... But no one saw me do it so that was good :-)

Ever try to take off with the disc lock still on?? This is prior to the invention of bits of cord or string around the throttle. It takes more than an Oscar performance to make that look like it was meant to happen.

Re: i fell off!!!!
I did a similar thing... had the bike parked in a shopping centre with the steering lock on and on the side stand... decided to push it forward a little to make more room behind it and didn't realise I'd pushed the side stand back a bit... while I was sorting helmets etc the thing fell over onto me... tried to hold it up but couldn't, the helmet went bouncing along the bitumen and the bike went down scratching the engine cover and the end of the clutch lever and the side of the mirror.. All fixed and repainted eventually and you'd never know but a learning experience. Now I'm paranoid when I park it..

Re: i fell off!!!!
i think what we need is some carbon fibre spring loaded fold away training wheels made by Gus that should resolve the need for the bandits want of falling over (usually with me under it)
