I think my 4 year old son and I will be in competition for it.

Levers and dual headlights .Both still in transit ,not happy Jan .

I bought me some of the Chinese cheapies to replace the lever I broke when I hit the deck. The last set lasted well for over a year outside with no visible wear, and I really like them. Would still be on if I hadn't hit that f*&%$## oil. Went for a set with black adjusters this time. For USD$38 they are great. I checked the bore of the pivot - no wear at all.

What software do you use to edit your vids mate. I use Windows live movie maker and NCH software (Prism Video File Converter) to convert the file format. both easy to use.
But, I seem to be losing video quality some where along the way?

Mate. I just put on a Nautilus compact. Bloody awesome

Reardo the go pro seems to output a H.264 mp4 file which is already somewhat compressed.
The Drift outputs H.264 mov file. Bigger files but less compression before editing.

Anyway I use Pinnacle Studio Ultimate (about $140) jimcoleman uses his built in Apple OS editor. Both of these are far superior to the windows software. Sure its free but ............

You probably don't have much control over the final output bit rate and if you select something along the lines of "for upload" you probably are outputting at something like 250k. Most of my videos are finished at 5,6000k (bit of a compression difference) Videos that I know I won't be uploading are finished at 12,000k. See if you have some control over the output compression because that's probably where you're losing quality. (Or buy a Drift )

A point of interest is there isn't much difference in file size of a video done at 720 X 400 at 5,600k and 512 X 288 at 5,600k.

Thats bad luck mate. Another friend in Greensy was on hold to AAMI for over 3 hrs trying to make a claim.

The sun dried out the carpets, and a bit of landslide action under the house, but not too serious. I lost my timber supply in the garage that was to be the laundry cupboards, but other than that - just a lot of cleaning up. Our neighbours lost a pool and fence , and water was pouring thru all the power points and light sockets. They found the same response from their insurance company - piss poor!
The kids kinder was destroyed with all their brand new furniture floating down the storm drain

I got 2 books on Outlaw Motorcycle Clubs. A blokes dictionary by Billy Brownless, a bag of liquorice and 2 bags of glazed ginger.

One book has been read, there is only one bag of ginger left and all the liquorice has been eaten.

got a ventura bag, and the wife got a helmet.... that's it really, the kids got heaps of pressies though :-)
