Ok folks, this thread is about disclosing what things you did to your Bandit (or even maybe you just did something else) as a direct result of reading something on the forum. For me:

- Replaced the orginals tyres with PR2s as a result of the tyres thread. Very Happy

- Changed the front fork springs and valves (still the best money I've spent on the beast). Very Happy

- Bandit stickers on the upper fairing that resemble 2WA's avatar picture - they look cool too. Cool

while we're on the subject what's the rig under your swing arm where I have race stand bobbins fitted? What's that all about?

Because of what I use my bike for, the things I`ve done are more for a practical purpose . Givi top box & rack + made a backrest pad for the box , made a radiator guard , vista throttle lock , double bubble screen coming for xmas , PR2 tires as the others wore out , tank pad , and a lambswool cover for longer trips . As mine doesn`t suffer any of the problems of some of the bandits I have left it standard mechanically . Maybe later on I might do some mods to it but at the moment I`m enjoying the quiet ride & it does what I want .( My last bandit was modified & this one is nice to ride just as it is for a change.) Very Happy

I hope I don't get flamed for entering into some cock measuring competition, as a recent topic turned into.
My K4 1200 has:
Holeshot stepped headers and comp end pipe
5 deg timing advancer
Stage two jetting with pod filters
GSXR750 '89 intake cam
removed PAIR system
Goodridge braided brake and clutch lines
HH sintered brake pads
Iridium plugs
Progressive springs
GSXR1000 '08 rear shock
dog bones to jack it up 35mm (shock lowered it 25mm)
heated hand grips w/ relay
Barkbusters storm hand guards
short levers - Pazzo knock offs
LED blinkers on the front fairing and handguards
clear lens blinkers - rear
Ventura bag with full rack & sport rack
Tank bag
carbon tank pad
higher wattage low & high beam
better hb3 & hb4 plugs to handle heat from higher wattage lamps
Metzler Z8s Very Happy
headlight guard
Zero gravity double bubble tinted screen
Renthal RS4 chain and sprockets

Probably some other bits I've forgotten. It goes alright, and very comfy.

First of all, I bought the bike after lurking here for a while. Then there was the Yoshi pipe. The PR2 goes on this week. All of these are directly as a result of visiting this site.

I take credit for the small screen on my naked and the 'bar-end mirrors that are still sitting in the shed, but will go on over Christmas.

I also got advice here on my fuel pump problem - will let you all know the outcome when I get it back from the dealers later this week.

It's a great resource we have with all of these clever folk.

Some of this was done previously, and after a recent refreshing of the parts due to a combination of gravity and oil on the road, this is what I has been done to this bike:

1. Factory lower fairing
2. Oxford Sport Heated Grips
3. Paint protector film
4. Scottoiler
5. Hugger
6. Yoshimura TRS
7. Givi V46 top box with brake light kit, internal light and colour matched lid
8. Givi V35 side panniers with colour matched inserts
9. BMC air filter
10. Rad Guard radiator guard
11. GiPro ATRE and gear position indicator
12. Stebel Nautilus air horn
13. MRA Vario Touring screen (Suzuki genuine)
14. Fender Extender
15. SW Motech Mirror extenders
16. 12V accessory power socket (marine, stainless, waterproof)
17. Ventura light guard
18. Keiti tank protector
19. LED marker lights and indicators
20. Narva Platinum headlight bulbs
21. Indicator blanking plates
22. Dale Walker Stage 2 – TFI, Airbox mod, O2 sensor eliminator, secondaries removed
23. Yoshimura reservoir covers
24. Suzuki gel seat
25. LED integrated taillight
26. Pazzo style adjustable levers
27. Regulator relocated (Metrick Metal)
28. PAIR removal kit (Metrick Metal)

And this is what it looks like all tarted up recently (LEDS not on it then)
