Headlight upgrade to Narva 100 plus H7 55w
Well, did this over the weekend. Had a coupla days to see what the difference was, including a head light adjustment, and MY verdict...............better ! Not fantastic, just better than the original globes. The Narvas are certainly a cleaner/crisp light, but 100% more light - naaaaaa, BS! They cost me $70 from SCA and about 10 minutes to install. Probably not the improvement I was hoping for, but they will have to do.

On my old GS 1000 i put in a 65w low 100 w high globe ($10) with a relay to handle the exta load .Worked fantastic .I dont ride much at night any
more so kind of forgot about it .I dont think it was road legal but as long as you didnt ride everywhere on high no problems .

Re: Headlight upgrade to Narva 100 plus H7 55w
I had Narva's in my Bandit. They were definitely better output wise, but they don't last long. Mine probably lasted a year before one of them popped on the recent Trakday I attended.
I've just brought a set pf H7 6000K HID's from supperbike supply for not much more than you paid for standard globes http://www.superbikesupply.com.au/eng/shopproductlist.php?type=Automotive&subtype=HID%20Lighting

Another headlight upgrade option
Am thinking these in perhpas the 6000k. I upgraded previous bike to 130/90w bulbs with very little effect.

Need to make sure the bulb purchased is a H4-4 (Hi/Lo) in the HID Xenon.
They sick out at the back of the bulb a little. & then there is finding a place to mount the ballast.
I notice some Bandits are H7, others H4. I believe my naked 2011 is a H4.

No use just putting bigger bulbs in as the stock wiring will get fried.
Time to rewire with a relay if you are going down this track

10 months..........! That's all the low beam lasted I've swapped the hi beam over to the low beam temporarily, and now it's time to order some of those H7 4300 HID's. Now where's Reddogs link to that Ozzie site.........

I'm thinking of trying something like this. But with cutoff line for riding on the left hand side of the road.
