I took the Yoshi slip on off today to give it a bit of polish and had a gawk into the headers. How is that the outside of the sparkplugs can be black, the cat almost snow white and the muffler filthy black?

Because you are playing with our minds ..If i'm right that is spark plug number 5 you are talking about ?

Haha the cat burns white hot to finish off the job the plugs didn't do

*PC3 with the supplied map and these mod got 123hp with 115nm of torque.
*Neville Lush Racing custom tune = 130hp with 125nm at the Tyre (Standard 98hp/108nm).

@ Gus I mean the outside edge of the sparkplug. The electrode is a light grey.
