checking engine oil level
First topic message reminder :
ok, WTF
On my old bike when I took the little oil cap off it had a dipstick attached to check the level....
On the bandit, when i remove the cap, its just that, a cap...
So how do i check the oil level?
just so everyone remembers, 05 1200s K5 - hence it is oil cooled

I do mine on the center stand / you only have to tip the bike over one way or the other slightly if your holding it up & it will effect the reading quite a lot . my hand manual says to place the bike on the centre stand on level ground to check the oil .
