temp Aussie in NZ on his 2nd bike eva, a Bandit 250
hey peeps,
thought id chime in, currently in AUckland for work with few more months to go (yay summers almost here, no more RAIN plz)
its been interesting riding over here, coming from Gold COast and from coming off my first bike a VTR250 V-twin funness.
anyways, got me self a mid-ranged Bandit 250 '96 model in black that still needs some TLC.
for the most part has been nice to me, though now realised needs some servicing and repairs (fork seals, steering bearings, front disc brake is slightly bent etc) i can do the oil/filter/air filter/plugs, but thats my limits and i think the carbs need a good clean (lacking mid power)
ive got a few q's i'll ask in the other parts of the forums, but for now, cheers 4 the welcomes

Welcome,
When I got my bike, it had been sitting around for a while as was prone to poor idle and no power just off idle, I put a few tankfuls through with "product" in and that eventually cured it, I even ran a few tankfulls of E10 which seemed to help.

Welcome.
Gee there is some good fast riding available on the Nth Island.
Are the coppers still liberal with the tolerance 's?
My ex is there now (home) you have probably slept with her

Welcome to Australia Mate ! ! !
I am not from NZ but I have been called a temporary Australian because I ride a motorbike.
Good one 2 wheels - that is probably the funniest welcome i have read in a long time, which is probably sad really.
