air filter lid

can any one help me ? i cannot get the lid off , removed the 2 screws can get the top to lift up but cant get the lid off to get the air filter out . checked out the work shop manual and owners book even had a little wrestle but to no avail some help would be appreciated

*Open airbox lid with K&N.
*Removed Secondaries.
*HealTech Gear Indicator w/tre "Advanced Timing Retard Eliminator is needed".
*Balanced TB's. My TPS was fine, but you should check yours.
*Arrow race headers with Yoshimura TRS.
*PC3 with the supplied map and these mod got 123hp with 115nm of torque.
*Neville Lush Racing custom tune = 130hp with 125nm at the Tyre (Standard 98hp/108nm).

Look just down in front of the battery, you need a longish screw driver to reach them. One on each corner of the lid.Jimcoleman wrote:i cant see the bottoms though

yeah yeah laugh as much as you want but just remember when your iphone pegs its who'll be laughing then

I don't actually know what that means. 
And I repair Iphones, there is precious little they can't be revived from, parts are cheap, except motherboards.
