HI skyward.
Be gr8 if you could click here and tell us some dirty little secret about yourself and you bike.
Then click here for tyres from OS as this seams to be the place to go for a pretty good price to your door from all accounts (no personal experience)
Do hyour sums tho as the cost of getting them to your door, plus local fitting cost may = or go over the cost of buying locally. Not saying it will, just check first

Re: Tyres for the 1250s
But you don’t have to ride a Bandit to be able to do some research on buying tyres OS or local. Our bikes run standard sized rubber.
I know tyres from the US have been done (maybe that should be Tires then) but with the current exchange rate and the risk of something going missing in transit then paying someone the premium to fit and balance a tyre they didn’t supply in the first place it would want to be a 2 for one deal to interest me.
The real savings would be in a group buy and fitting them ourselves and balancing using the tried and true home method.

Re: Tyres for the 1250s
OK... my 2c. I buy tyres from Jake Wilsons. I also brought the tusk bead breaker, tusk static balancer, wheel weights, 4x rim savers and 4 10" spoon levers.
We've changed 3 lots of tyres so far including my rear dirt bike tyre and it is piss easy once you know how. All the gear has paid for itself and considering a set of tyres landed to the door (in 3 - 4 days from the US) is around $300 it's money well spent.
Tyre changing kit was under $200 for all of it. My mate modded the tyre bead breaker so it has an old bike tube around the steel section so your rims don't get damaged which works a treat

Never used them as I had a BT016f/BT021r combo as my last set before selling the bandit.
Have a look thru this thread as it may give some feedback on the tyre you are thinking of.
There is also this option
