Pre-load slots .
If you have ever adjusted your front preload there is a good chance the screw-driver slots are messed up like mine or worse .
If you carefully file a chamfer on the slot it gets rid of the crap edge and matches nicely to the rest of the area .Polish by hand.

While i was in the area i removed those 4 plastic caps and polished the top of the allen heads .Matches the filler cap .I know ,been done .
Which of cause leaves 4 caps to use .
And a spare .

Try a 10 / 20c coin on the preload adjusters. It saves messing them up in the first place with a crap fitting screw driver

Re: Pre-load slots .
The reason I found this is because my Davey transfer pump has a similar screw arrangement to top it up if it runs dry where a 20c piece fits perfectly
