a few brave ??????? souls (an SA adventure )

^^^ a gaggle of bandits ( & one ring in ) ^^^
Well SA turned what I like to call bonding weather ( get to bond with our bike by washing it when you get home ) after what must have been the biggest storm we`ve seen for a very long time last night .
We met at strath for a coffee & a chat & to dry out a bit from the ride there & then decided to give a big ride somewhere for lunch a miss due to all the crap mother nature had distributed on the roads for us to dodge & the shitty weather still hanging around .It was decided to take a shorter trip to Meadows Bakery for a bite of lunch & to continue with our ( very humorous ) conversation .
Just as we were about to leave for home the clouds parted & the sun came out in all its glory ( see I told you fellas!! ) & I made a hasty retreat home hoping they wouldn`t follow me to make good on their threat to make me wash all the bikes , lube chains etc. for picking such a crappy ( weather ) day to hold a run .
All in all a great day was had & I promise next time to pick a day with a bit more sunshine & a lot less wind & water .

Looks like you all had a good time - pity I was away.

The only " collective noun " that I can find for " Bandit " is....... An arse of bandits. A Gaggle of Bandits ? Not sure. Nice line up though.

In military slang, a gaggle is an unorganized group doing nothing. ( Wikipedia )
We had been inside having lunch so were unable to organize them into a ride, so they were just waiting for us doing nothing
( was a great day though ) .

Just for interest sake; Note: The plural banditti was formerly used as a collective noun. [1913 Websters Dictionary]
