Just went through and did a major service on the bandit 1250 on the weekend(radiator fluid, plugs, oil, airfilter, valve clearances).

ALways do minor servicing religiously 5000km

My surprise was when i pulled my K&N airfilter out that i only have had in for 5000km was completely black with road grime. Im putting this done to all my riding in the rain the last couple of months. The inside on the box was perfectly clean so the k&n was definately did its job.

So after a bit of reading on this site i decided i would remove the snorkel aswell.

Went for a ride yesterday and i was very very happy with the results. The induction noise is incredible Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy

Yes the noise is much nicer than stock. Now go attack the top of the airbox witha hacksaw to allow it to breathe much easier.
